Artwork & Illustration
Watercolour painting of a pangolin - one of the world's most endangered mammal species. This piece is based on a photo by Maria Diekmann of REST Namibia, an organization working hard to protect and conserve endangered Namibian wildlife.

Chimney Swift closeups of vector illustrations that I created based on reference photos of these At Risk Canadian bird species. The illustrations were used in a Bird Studies Canada landowner info page for their SwiftWatch program, and also made an appearance in a BSC Membership Newsletter in 2018.
Chimney swifts cling with their feet onto vertical surfaces like the inside of large dead tree trunks, and old open brick chimneys. This behaviour makes their shape very interesting and different to capture! |
Biodiversity Activity Page Illustrations
Artibeus gnomus - the gnome fruit eating bat of Guyana
These are a combination of digital and by-hand drawings that I used to develop colouring sheets to engage kids (and the young-at-heart) in outreach activations. They have been used in the Schad Gallery of Biodiversity at the Royal Ontario Museum, and for the Ontario BioBlitz program.

Killer Whale Hunting Activity Maze
This activity page was made for a booklet used in the Royal Ontario Museum's Animal Explorer scavenger hunt. Kids need to complete the maze to lead the killer whale siblings to their preferred prey - Chinook salmon!
