Stacey wants to live in a world where people see themselves as a part of nature - interconnected with the living world, rather than separate from it. She is a biodiversity nerd and citizen scientist.
Her communication work has been featured by the CBC News, the Toronto Star, and the Royal Ontario Museum, and more. She has designed and coordinated the communications and website for the Ontario BioBlitz program since 2014, and acts as its lead coordinator.
When she’s not working, you might find her wandering the green spaces and conservation areas of the Durham Region, often perched on a rock or tree with her nose in a book, or patiently waiting for the perfect shot of a creature with her camera or cell phone. She also loves cuddling with her black cat, Poe, and playing and designing board games with her spouse, Stuart. Her hair will probably be a different colour each time you see her.
