Royal Ontario Museum | Blue Whale Exhibition Engagement Strategy Document

An engagement strategy is an internal document used to provide all the details of marketing, programming, and event plans for an upcoming large-scale event. In early 2017, I was contracted to design and develop an engagement strategy for the Royal Ontario Museum's "Out of the Depths: The Blue Whale Story" Blockbuster Exhibition. I was handed some photos and text documents from the different committees and teams that were developing the exhibition, and put everything together into a booklet that could be used to inform the entire ROM staff and volunteer base about ongoing activities related to the upcoming exhibition. Below are sample pages from that document to showcase its page designs, layouts and a couple of spreads. I designed the book in landscape format in order to connect the reader with the massive size of the blue whale and allow for any spreads to emphasize this feeling of BIG.
